Pastor

Rev. Paul Quevedo is our new pastor.  While in his career as an Information Technology professional, he heard God's call while leading a Bible study at Middle Collegiate Church.  "I was amazed as to what was actually in the Bible and needed to learn more. Little did I know that would lead me to Seminary." Sensing God's call on his life, his pastor and other church leaders prayerfully encouraged his pursuit. Rev. Paul earned a Masters in Divinity graduating Magna Cum Laude from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, with accreditation in Pastoral Counseling. His ministry included the pastorate in our sister denomination, The Reformed Church in America and working with less-served communities through Project Hospitality.  Before joining our FRPC family, he earned accreditation by the State of New York and was a Substance Abuse Counselor. Born and raised in New York City, Rev. Paul spent many a summer "down the shore".  It is now his home.

Music Ministry
Music Director

Allison Stella joined our staff as our Director of Music on June 11, 2023.  She graduated from Messiah College and currently is a teacher of English in the Barnegat Township School District.  She was vocal director for their spring musical and is a pit orchestra professional and accompanist.  She has worked in a church setting as a musical team member; she is looking forward to having a fuller role as Director of Music.  Allison can be seen and heard in various locations around our area as a "gig" musician as well.

FRPC Handbell Choir

Jim Randall has been a member of the FRPC Chancel/Handbell Choir for many years.  He played under the direction of Barbara Vena, Kathy Sandel, and Olivia Sandel.  Upon Olivia’s resignation, Jim was recommended as a replacement director, where he has been directing (and sometimes ringing) since.  [We will forgive him the brief respite named Covid].  Jim’s love of music started back in jr. high school when he started playing trombone for concert band, and jazz band.  He progressed into Marching Band, Orchestra, and other bands and ensembles through high school, college, and beyond.  He still occasionally likes to pull out the trombone to play on special projects.  He lives in Manahawkin with his wife (Angela), two  children (Laura & Michael), two cats (Mickey & Minnie), and his Mother-in-Law (Arlene).
